Occupational Therapy for Autistic & ADHD Children in Burlington & Hamilton
Is your child overwhelmed by textures, refusing to eat anything but three foods, or melting down over getting dressed?
You're not failingβyour child's nervous system just needs support.
At Little Forest Therapy, Tanya Gabriele provides neurodivergent-affirming occupational therapy for children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and executive functioning struggles. Through play-based, relationship-focused therapy on the farm, we help your child regulate, build confidence, and navigate daily tasks with less stress.
WHAT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AT LITTLE FOREST LOOKS LIKE FOR YOUR FAMILY
Less overwhelm, more confidence. Your child learns to understand and work WITH their sensory needsβwhether it's textures, sounds, or movementβso daily tasks feel manageable instead of impossible.
Skills that work in real life. We practice regulation, eating, dressing, and play skills in natural settings on the farm, not in a sterile clinic, so your child can actually use them where it matters.
Mealtime peace. Through compassionate, play-based strategies, we help expand your child's relationship with foodβreducing stress for everyone at the table.
Emotional regulation tools. Your child builds awareness of their big feelings and learns strategies to calm their nervous systemβleading to fewer meltdowns and more joyful moments.
Therapy they enjoy. When therapy feels like playβpetting rabbits, exploring the farm, building with blocksβyour child engages authentically. They develop skills while creating memories.

WHERE SESSIONS HAPPEN
Visits are primarily held at Blue Dot Acres Farm.
Therapy on the Farm
Located at Blue Dot Acres in northwest Burlington, our primary therapy space is designed to help children learn, grow, and connect in a calm, nature-based environment.
The peaceful surroundings of the farm create meaningful opportunities to support communication, emotional regulation, sensory processing, motor development, and everyday life skills through engaging, child-led experiences. Whether we're exploring nature, moving our bodies, building confidence through play, or working toward individual therapy goals, the outdoor environment naturally encourages curiosity, connection, and learning.
At Little Forest Therapy, we believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and free to explore. Blue Dot Acres provides the perfect setting for therapy that is playful, evidence-based, and grounded in meaningful real-world experiences.
While most therapy sessions take place at our farm location at Blue Dot Acres, we also offer limited home visits for families when appropriate and scheduling allows.
Home Visit Fees: Initial Assessment $220, Follow-Up Therapy Sessions $175
Please contact us to discuss availability and whether home-based therapy is the right fit for your child.
